Jeanette Lingard - Principal

Jeanette founded TJN Accountants in 2009.  She has over 20 years of public practice experience including positions with PwC in Sydney and KPMG. A Gold Coast local, Jeanette is passionate about helping clients grow and protect their businesses.

Specialties:

  • Medical professionals (GPs, psychiatrists, allied health)

  • Building & construction, including QBCC compliance

  • SMSF compliance and advice

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Laws (Hons) / Bachelor of Commerce (UQ)

  • Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (UTS)

  • Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (CAANZ)

  • Masters of Taxation (UNSW)

  • Diploma of Financial Planning (CPA Australia)

  • SMSF Association Accredited Specialist

Jeanette is known for simplifying complex taxation and superannuation issues, with a practical, solutions-focused approach. Outside work, you’ll find her volunteering with community groups, staying active, and enjoying life with her family.

Troy Niebling - Principal

Troy has over 22 years of public practice experience, including 10 years at KPMG on the Gold Coast before joining TJN Accountants in 2011. A long-term local, he loves helping business owners build financial confidence.

Specialties:

  • Small-to-medium business advisory

  • Compliance for family business groups

  • Strategic tax planning (including advisory and structuring)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Business (Accounting) (Griffith University)

  • Graduate Diploma of Accounting (CPA Australia)

When he’s not working, you will find Troy playing golf, hunting for new additions to his vinyl record collection or watching the South Sydney Rabbitohs play.

Melanie Faass - Business Services Manager

Mel brings over 20 years of experience in public practice, including 8 years at KPMG and 2 years with publicly listed entities. Originally from New Zealand, she’s been part of the Gold Coast community since 2008 and joined TJN Accountants in 2018.

Specialties:

  • Small business tax and compliance

  • Accounting and tax advice for the legal industry and for building and construction businesses

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Business (Accounting) (University of Waikato)

  • Graduate Diploma of Accounting (CPA Australia)

Outside of work, Mel is a dedicated “volunteer” (read that as: “unpaid”) financial controller for #Beatniks Records, an independent music store nestled in the heart of Broadbeach – a venture passionately run by her husband Jayden.

When she is not immersed in accounting and music, Mel enjoys the excitement of raising two young girls and cherishing moments spent with friends.

Belinda Bartlett - Business Services Manager

Belinda offers over 20 years of public practice experience and is dedicated to making accounting approachable and stress-free.  We will welcome Belinda to the TJN team in mid-July 2025.

  • Medical professionals (including dentists and allied health)

  • Building & construction industry

  • Long-term client relationships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (University of Southern Queensland)

  • Certified Practising Accountant (CPA)

Belinda thrives on helping clients improve profitability, set up smart structures, and navigate complex tax matters. When she’s not in the office, she’s spending time with her family or keeping active at the gym.

Vicki Mulkearns - Business Services Manager

Vicki has more than 20 years of experience in public practice and joined the TJN team in 2017. She’s a steady, practical advisor known for building strong relationships with clients.

  • High net wealth individuals

Qualifications:
